Even if you think you could take a DIY approach always try a professional treatment first so that you can pick up some tips on how to do the process properly and remember, it will hurt less when an experienced practitioner works on you until you have just as much expertise to wax properly. The faster you pull off the wax the better – just like a sticking plaster!

At least with a DIY process, you get a bit of privacy. There is nowhere to hide with a salon bikini wax although, it has to be said, that the beautician, like a gynecologist will have seen it all before and will not be at all embarrassed so it will put you at your ease.
