The Conair Hair Removal system is a pain free hair removal device, which works without mess or fuss on dry skin. The idea is that you remove hair at the surface of the skin using the gentle friction of revolving Conair hair removal pads. For many, it is a much better method of removing hair than shaving and it works just as quickly.
To use the machine, you attach an exfoliating pad to the head of the machine, then switch it on so that the pad revolves. Then you run the moving pad gently and lightly over your skin so that the hair is literally rubbed away. It is a similar action to the friction mitts which have been on the market for decades. What’s interesting is that you can buy this hair removal kit it in some places, for less than the mitts or even a burger! See below for the best deal.
To avoid irritating your skin you need to follow instructions carefully. Like a lot of hair removal products, Conair hair removal system reviews are mixed. This device has glowing reports with top marks mainly from those who thought it was a much easier way to remove hair than shaving. It also has a fair amount of criticism and poor reviews, especially from those who thought it irritated their skin. (See the mixed reviews here and here) But if you follow the instructions properly you are likely to be one of the satisfied customers giving the product 5 stars. If you press too hard or keep the head in one place too long, irritation will result. It says so in the instructions!
Also, do not expect to be able to rub away thick hair like those along the bikini line. This works best on the kind of hair you have on your legs and arms where it will leave your skin smooth and hair free. In fact, one of the nicest things, many buyers say, is that it leaves your skin feeling so smooth, better than any other standard exfoliating products on the market, and some people purchase just for the exfoliating effect alone.
Of course, this is a temporary hair removal method as you are removing hair at the surface of the skin, but you can easily remove the hair again at any time in your own home – not even water required. And there’s no need to wait for hair to grow to a certain length as you have to do with waxing as you can remove hair right at the surface.
This product retails at vastly different prices. But you can buy it here for about the same price as a burger! If you don’t like shaving for any reason, it’s probably worth a shot for that kind of money. In other places, it retails for over ten times as much, so grab one while it is still at such a low price if you’re interested.
Sometimes in the beauty world we make things more complicated than they need to be and then a little low cost device like the Conair hair removal system, which could be just what you need, gets totally ignored. I suppose it isn’t the latest cutting edge technology so doesn’t attract interest like laser hair removal or IPL but it really doesn’t matter, does it, if it works for you? In many cases, we just have to try things out and see. It costs an awful lot more to try out laser or IPL hair removal than it does for this little machine.
